Client Responsibilities and Communication

  1. Submission of Updates and Requests:

    • All requests for updates, modifications, or additional services must be submitted by the Client through official digital communication channels, including email or other agreed-upon digital platforms. This ensures a documented and trackable communication process.
  2. Acceptance and Dispute Period:

    • Upon delivery of any service or update, the Client is allotted a period of thirty (30) calendar days to review and either accept the work or notify Recon Marketing Services Inc. of any issues or disputes. If no communication is received within this 30-day period, the delivered services will be considered accepted, and any further modifications may incur additional charges.

  • Documented Communication:

    • Requiring that all update requests be submitted via digital channels ensures there’s a clear record of Client instructions and Developer responses. This practice minimizes misunderstandings and provides a reference point in case of disputes.
  • Defined Acceptance Period:

    • Establishing a specific timeframe for Clients to review and accept services encourages timely feedback and helps keep projects on schedule. It also provides a clear cutoff point after which the work is deemed satisfactory, protecting the service provider from indefinite liability.

  • Acceptance Testing:

    • Some contracts specify an “Acceptance Test Period,” during which the Client evaluates the delivered website to ensure it meets the agreed-upon specifications. For instance, a standard period might be 14 working days, during which acceptance can only be withheld if the website materially fails to conform to the project specifications. webdesignireland.ie
  • Remedial Periods:

    • In cases where the delivered application doesn’t meet acceptance criteria, developers may be granted a remedial period (e.g., 30 business days) to address and rectify the issues. Failure to meet the criteria within this period can lead to termination of the agreement.
